When the Japanese born half of this partnership is away, it's a good time to indulge in some ghetto eating at Masuya, now Mikaku Sushi. Completely unassuming, owned by a not-Japanese family, the place serves a no nonsense bento box lunch special. The katsu (tonkatsu and chicken katsu) options are cheap, straightforward and satisfies a craving for a plain meal with rice.
