The only possible downside to lunch at the Stage is it's not big enough to share with friends. Trying to sit more than two people together at the narrow eating counter is not easy. But aside from spatial requirements, we're always happy to be eating at the Stage. They serve Ukrainian comfort food at its best. There are actual little old ladies in the back hand rolling pierogis. The meatloaf, home-made and deep fried, is stored in metal warming drawers. You can barely see the griddle for all the kielbasa and fresh challah. And oh by the way, everything is absolutely delicious.
