lunch at UPenn with Domenic

We were invited down to UPenn today by Domenic Vitiello to give a presentation on Farmadelphia to a large group of Philadelphia based urban farmers, community gardeners and activists. For a buffet style luncheon the food was pretty fresh, I suppose it would have to be in order to pass muster with community dedicated to providing locally grown foodstuffs to its local denizens. It sounds like Philadelphia is working hard on creating a Sustainable Philadelphia, something we are excited to be involved in, however minimally.
