In the many years that our offices have been in this neighborhood we seldom ever eat in Little Italy. No reason to either, the once vibrant area now smacks of watered-down, over-priced, tourist-geared "Italian" food. Today we discover that curiosity doesn't always kill the cat. In fact it can be fed for less than $10 a person. Subjecting the Iridesco boys and Ray to our curiosity, we meet at Vincent's for a table full of famous red sauce and some white calm clam sauce. As expected, the meal was 100% genuine American-Italian.

MM. That sauce would make me calm, too.
oops what a funny typo!
Do you ever do desserts from places in Little Italy? From what I recall we never ate italian food there (always in jersey where it's better) but the fresh cannoli at cha'cha's are killer.
We haven't actually tried desserts from Little Italy but fresh cannolis from a place named cha'cha's seems worth trying
