Han Bat

We had a revelation today - Koreatown is only 2 N/R train express stops away from our office!! Amazing! Brilliant! Off we go to 35th Street to try Han Bat for lunch, an old standby not on the main drag but 3 blocks up. The food is not incredibly amazing but is really decent homestyle cooking. We tried their duk man-doo kook (rice cake/ dumpling/ meat and vegetable) soup and the ever popular sul run tang or seolleongtang (ox bone flavored, noodle & scallion soup). We left food comatose but superbly happy on this gray drizzly day.
