$2.75 seemed a small amount to pay for this large apple turnover from Tartine, but when we cut it open and discovered applesauce instead of apples it all made sense. Regardless, the final result of puree and pastry was delicious. I imagine if we ever caught one fresh out of the oven it would be beyond delicious and closer to divine.
