True a weekend dessert post is unprecedented, but well, we are working and we did have a snack this afternoon so why not share. What a fantastic blog you have created.
Makes me ache for NYC--I lived there for five years in the 90's.
My absolute favourite lunch place would have to be Veselka (9th street & 2nd ave, I believe)
They have delicious perogies and the best mashed potatoes w/ mushroom gravy I have ever had!
