Aroma Kitchen and Winebar

Aroma Kitchen & Winebar invited us over this sunny afternoon to try their somewhat new lunch offering, a très smart 2-course $18 prix fixe menu. Smart because you choose either "appetizer + main" OR "main + dessert", which means two people sharing lunch can experience the full gamut of a proper meal. We were lured in with some house marinated olives (delicious!), enticed by white anchovies over a caesar salad, a seafood risotto and happily satiated with a braised pork panino. But the real transporting experience was a look at their private rooms downstairs. We are in agreement with the Strong Buzz's review, the owners and the space itself exudes warmth, a touch of romantic Italy and a passion for fresh food.
