Was it not just the perfect day for an urban picnic? At the rear entrance to the Soho Equinox are some diamond plate patterned, black rubber clad steps running alongside the building. Pop into the nearby 'wichcraft, pick up a couple fresh sandwiches (salami, cauliflower and beet greens or sicilian tuna with fennel, lemon and olives), and plop your butt down outside. The steps get way fab light and are equally good for people watching.
