Il Corallo Trattoria, with Michael and Ray

05-15 Il Corallo
We've never been to Il Corallo before but it was recommended by a friend, so we figured it was a good place to meet a new friend (Michael Surtees of the esteemed DesignNotes) while connecting with an old one (Ray Cha of weatherpattern). The rather overwhelming menu of over 50 pastas entrees had us a little confused at first but eventually we settle down to the real business of lunch - making connections. Over some decent pasta selections we meandered around the country, talking about why we love Pittsburgh (but not Ray), what to do in Minneapolis, living in Saskatchewan and of course how small New York can be.

And what do New Yorkers do in Minneapolis? I live here and would be curious to know...

I love your blog - I come here every day and it never fails to make me hungry!

Well I'm not sure what New Yorkers do in Minneapolis but New Yorker-Archi-Dorks definitely head over to the Walker Art Center, especially to walk the Sculpture Garden!
