Aurora

If you live anywhere on the east coast, you'll know the walk crosstown to Aurora was barely bearable in this hot humid heat. It's a heat that should only be experienced in a movie theater or on the beach. Luckily we did find relief in the chilled tomato, cucumber, avocado and watermelon soup at Aurora. And accompanied by their delectably char grilled octopus, we managed to forget, for one brief lunch, the oven awaiting us outside.
