We picked Petrossian because we needed a place between Brett and ourselves but what we didn't know is that a place started by Armenians in Paris serving Russian caviar would be quite so old-fashioned fancy schmancy. We might have been the youngest people in the room by 2 decades. Regardless we manage to enjoy ourselves, Brett with olive tapenade on a vegetable focaccia and us with some delicious on-premises baked breads and a perfectly classic French vinaigrette salad.
Petrossian, 911 Seventh Avenue btwn 57th and 58th
