Hiroko's Place

Mid-month means we need a coffee run which also means lunch in the west. Searching for something basic but satisfying on this sultry Monday afternoon we pop into Hiroko's Place for some hamburg. Not a very adventurous lunch but the ground beef patie with special sauce is so perfect accompanied by side dishes of potato salad and iceberg lettuce salad. Hiroko's is always a reliable lunch when you're looking for comfort, especially the Western-style-with-Japanese-twist sort of comforting.
