Hoomoos Asli, with Lisa

We met Lisa at an awards ceremony last year where we discovered several things in common: (1) we love food, (2) we're all architects and (3) her office is around the corner from ours. That seems like plenty of reasons to meet up for lunch, which we did today at Hoomoos Asli. It feels rare that a restaurant undergoing ownership change will emerge for the better but Hoomoos Asli has done it. We loved them before but we love them more now. Especially now that they serve sandwiches in such attractive wooden bowls.
