Pasta is not usually so tasty the second day reheated in the microwave but Mario Batali's recipe for Spaghetti alla Carbonara manages to survive a leftover helping. The recipe is shockingly simple and yields an incredibly delicious meal when made fresh on the spot. If cooking is not your thing then head over to Otto for the real live version. Spaghetti alla Carbonara was one of my all time favorite comfort foods in college. Thanks so much for inspiring me to make it for dinner tonight!
Growing up, Spaghetti Carbonara was the meal I would always ask my mother to make on my birthday.
I am totally making that Mario recipe this weekend.
