It's a bit of a surprise to us that Eileen's Cheesecake, a genuinely American (well New York) bakery, should produce a chocolate chocolate chip cookie that is not sugary sweet. In fact the cookie tastes of cocoa with a hint of sweetness and accomplished with no dark chocolate bitterness whatsoever. A great cookie.

mmm I use to live around the corner from Eileen's. I walked by there 100 times and somehow managed never to stop in. Now that I've seen that cookie and read about it's goodness I'm regretting resisting the impulses to go in!
