La Nueva Conquista

There's some sunshine peeping out now but earlier when we walked out for lunch it was gray and drizzly, prompting us to pick up something comforting - roast pork over rice and beans prepared Dominican style. La Nueva Conquista is our local, very popular hole-in-the-wall cantina with a daily rotation of the most delicious home-cooked meals. We can never resist the always tasty roast pork but there are so many other tempting options to beguile our senses we keep meaning to go back and try them all. And if you have a partner in eating, just one of their $7 meals is enough to amply feed two.
