We are always asking traveling friends to bring us back local treats. With globalization making everything available anywhere, it's such fun to get little packages of local versions of cookies or chips or whatever. Tohato brand cookies are Japanese, not overly sweet and a lovely afternoon snack. Not that you have to travel to Japan for these, just head over to 3rd Ave and 9th St.
