The Stage

Some days when work is no fun and we have a little extra time, we take the walk up to the Stage. It's especially nice when the weather is pleasant like today. For guaranteed happiness and comfort we each have a cup of chicken noodle soup and then share a big fat plate of meat loaf, gravy, mashed potatoes and some sort of mixed vegetables. It's only counter seating at the Stage and sometimes we lament we cannot bring a large group of friends but then again part of the charm is squeezing by old Polish ladies, bulky contractor types and the occasional student to grab a much sought after bar stool. If you have never tried lunch at the Stage, it's vital you go now.
