The Smile

Newly opened The Smile on Bond is a little too hip for us, especially since we forgot to wear our skinny jeans and converse kicks today. A light touch characterizes the decent lunch offerings, pleasant but nothing particularly special. The decor is typical of the new chic, which is to say that old is chic. Or as friend Eva calls it, dark nostalgia. The Smile is another miscellany-made-cool concept store/cafe, joining the growing overabundance of similarly styled hipster joints.
