I had forgotten San Gennaro was coming to Little Italy, so this morning, on the spur of the moment, we decided to move out of our temporary digs into the new ones without any further fuss or ado. Tucked in the middle of this last minute kind of day arrived Jordi from Spain. We caught up at La Esquina where I learned that huevos rancheros is commonly served over fried corn tortillas and smothered in tomato-chili sauce.
