Ostap and I's failed attempt at sitting down face to face with Ms Abramovic this morning, ended with having lunch at Katsuhama. I hadn't been there in a while, and katsu (Japanese breaded pork cutlet) had been on my mind of recent. I really should have stuck to my guns and gotten the katsu lunch set, but was lured away by today's special the steak hamburg (hamburger without the bun or more like meatloaf, a national favorite especially w/ the kids). It wasn't that good, and they got my sauce wrong too. I think I was too deep into conversation to notice until two bites in.
Katsuhama, 11 East 47th Street, NY, NY 10017 (btwn Madison and 5th Ave)
