Very little time was available for lunch today, but the sun is out and the temperature settling itself in the warmer climate zone, a walk, even a short one was in dire need. We had eaten a very interesting pseudo-banh mi a while back from this place and we have been meaning to go back for more. But since today wasn't about being adventurous, so I just stuck to the #1 Paris Special Baguette. I can't say that it's the tastiest around, but it's got stuff going for it. The fresh bread, the smaller better proportioned sandwich (at least to our lady-like preferences) that made it seem more authentic, though I personally don't know what that authentic is... yet.
