Co Pane, with John and Thu

Taking advantage of a friend's piece at the nearby Marlborough Gallery, I dragged John and my sister Thu up to Chelsea so we could see the show before it closed and so I could finally try the much touted Co Pane pizza. Man does Jim Lahey make great bread. Fantastic bread even - tasty, yielding and crunchy all in one bite. The toppings were fine, not his forte but certainly not poor or distracting. And what a perfect summer day to have lunch in the breezy shade of their outdoor tables.
