It's utterly impossible to think of anything else for lunch when you walk back into the office from a noon meeting and everyone is sitting down to their weekly session of Indian food from Brick Lane. So of course when M. asked me what's for lunch, we already knew the answer - Brick Lane. We ordered a Lassuni Gobi, described as "crispy cauliflower florets tossed in a tomato and garlic sauce" but really seemed like a delicious vegetarian version of General Tso's chicken. And a Parsi delicacy, Dhansak, lamb cooked in a lentil and tomato curry. In our humble opinion, perfectly spiced with vim and vigor but not so much that it'd kill you.
