We didn't mean to have a second lunch today when we set out to pick up Greg for roast beef sandwiches at Bowery Beef. The sandwiches were enjoyable in a low-brow kind of way, served on squishy buns and a slathered on spicy sauce, but small, ala fast food portion size. And since we didn't get any sides with lunch, our stomachs were already rumbling by the time we headed back to the office. At Elizabeth, instead of parting ways, we decided to keep strolling towards Tacombi for a quick taco to fill the void. A rather brilliant idea if I do say so myself.
