Noodle Village has forever spoiled us for noodle soups. Even New Chao Chow, which normally does pretty well by us, just doesn't compare. Today we were the only English speakers in the place. The waiters loafed about, cracking loud incomprehensible jokes and raucously laughing about them. I was transported elsewhere, as we walked back to the office on Mott, surrounded solely by the tones of Cantonese.
