3:55pm rhubarb crumble pie

It's an extended version dessert deluxe post today, brought to you courtesy of the lovely Sara at Magnolia Bakery. She invited us to their first seasonal tasting last night where we sampled every single dessert on the table. I know, the things we do for accurate blog reportage. There is no Magnolia near us and the cupcake fanatics scare us anyway but last night reminded us that, at its origin, Magnolia Bakery is a bakery. Which means really tasty cheesecake, layer cakes, pies, crumbles and banana puddings to name a few. We personally fell in love with the key lime cheesecake and the seasonal rhubarb pies given away as goodie bags were the perfect treat for this afternoon. Forget the cupcakes, it's everything else that deserves tasting.
