Wine cookies, as the name suggests, are made with wine. And they are really rather delicious, or at least these from Tarallucci e Vino are. Nothing against Stella D'oro cookies (in fact, I rather like them), but these cookies taste like what Stella D'oro "ought" to taste like. At $1 a piece, I'd say it's a bit steep; I can eat them in about 2 or 3 bites. I wonder if they'd be up for a baker's dozen..
