Yesterday I saw a cinnamon donut twist at a highway rest stop Starbucks. It looked super yummy behind the glass display but I heroically resisted the urge, remembering that appearances often are deceiving. The sighting left a lingering donut craving, which I conveyed to M today. On her way back from a tile store she thoughtfully stopped by the other donut franchise in town, Tim Hortons. We will not get into the particulars of Tim Hortons vs. Dunkin' Donuts because the internet says quite alot about that, all inconclusive. It was better than I thought it would be, not as good as a donut could be.
