Burger & Barrel

Today is National Fried Chicken Day! We celebrated by having fried chicken at Burger & Barrel, a wise choice as the fried chicken was super tasty and I loved the mashed potatoes and gravy accompaniment. Not a cheap choice for a fried chicken lunch, but worthy nonetheless. I'm surprised no one has started a blog where they spent a year eating only the food celebrated by whatever food holiday it might be. Although that would mean whipped cream on January 5, chocolate covered raisins on March 24 and play dough on September 18.
