Shanghai Cafe, with Thu

An additional lunch companion is generally required for lunch at Shanghai Cafe, mostly so we can order our 3 favorite dishes without guilt. The third person most often ends up being whichever sister is in town, having saved up a longing from abroad for soup dumplings and string beans. The string beans were especially flavorful today; the rice cakes less than their normal stellar quality, but still quickly devoured.
