Drats I can't remember who recommended the lemon tart from the Francois Payard Bakery, but I did remember someone did. It is intense and strong, the embodiment of what a lemon tart should be. That's a second rather successful dessert from downtown Payard so really we're going to have to keep scheduling lunches on West Houston.
