I was a tiny bit worried this morning about the damp skies but it all cleared up in time for an outdoor lunch. It's always difficult to choose at Alidoro, if you stare too long at the menu, all the ingredients blend together into one great delicious sounding sandwich. We usually waver between a couple different ones, like the Di Vinci that Village Voice likes or the Serious Eats choice, the Fruoletto, and then at the last minute we decide on one of the daily specials instead. Scott, our now regular monthly lunching partner, usually has the porchetta, another favorite of ours, but opted for something lighter instead.
