Y is on jury duty for an uncertain amount of time, but we felt we should go to an old standby, no longer on rotation, but still on everyone's "where to eat when on jury duty" list. Service was good, and the food wasn't bad. The pho tasted clean and nice, though perhaps a little on the one dimensional end. Not overly seasoned, which is a good and bad thing. I happen to like the thinner noodle, and so that served me fine. We inevitably talked about our moral obligations to define "hardship" in order to evade having to dedicate 6 weeks of your life to serve your civic duty.
