The Dining Room at Kendall College

I was in Chicago last week for board meetings where we were fed by the superbly friendly staff at Kendall College with our last meal at the student run restaurant, The Dining Room. It's so easy to forget that in places outside of our fair city, random strangers will say hi, unprompted and with a smile. I had a lovely meal at The Dining Room, starting with a veal meatball, filling up on grilled whitefish and ending with a taste of a strawberry sorbet that I wish I had stayed to eat more of.
