Contrary to popular belief (actually I don't know that it's a popular belief), noon time is not the hottest time of day. It's somewhere between 3 or 4 when the hot noon sun has permeated all exposed surfaces and let it all simmer and radiate. That is precisely why I refused to go out to get dessert, and why I decided to make do with what I've got. A decently in season nectarine, Hawthorne Valley Farm whole milk lemon yogurt (I absolutely don't get the point of low fat or non fat yogurt) and granola. It's kind of like breakfast, but why not have a balanced and nutritious dessert? I could eat this any time of day.
