4:00pm strawberry basil pie

M. picked up a couple slices of pie from the much touted First Prize Pies over the weekend at the Super Duper Market. She did not share the smore pie with me, but says it was pretty darn delicious, reminiscent of the crack pie, though lighter in texture and taste. The strawberry basil, which she did share with me, was delicious and reminded me very much of Four & Twenty Blackbirds, as then confirmed by this Serious Eats post comparing the two.
