4:20pm salted caramel apple pie

To really ensure that we took a full tour of Brooklyn this morning, we veered farther south into the Gowanus for a slice of pie from our favorite pie purveyor, Four & Twenty Blackbirds. Upon return, we missed the on-ramp to the BQE, but sped alongside it until we hit the Brooklyn Bridge, at which point we tried twice to get on the Manhattan Bridge, circling around and around, but it mysteriously denied us entry so we carrried on to the Williamsburg Bridge where we finally managed to cross back into Manhattan.
