La Esquina Cafe, with David

I almost thought we were in an alternate world because we walked into La Esquina just before 1pm, prime downtown hipster eating time and there were available tables. Many available tables. But as it quickly filled up I realized we just got lucky in this one moment between crowds. I had forgotten how much I love the french fries, and, to top it off, our favorite pollo rostizado torta was especially delicious today. David polished off the chile rellno but I didn't actually ask him if it was good or not.
