These were hand-me-down cookies from Maggie, who is gluten intolerant. These cookies by black+blanco are made from rye, and hence she was hoping she could tolerate them, but that obviously didn't work out. They are sandy like shortbread cookies and come in unique flavors. These are the maple dusted cardamom, and I found the cardamom flavor lovely. The maple flavor is a little overpowering and almost tastes like fake vanilla, but once you get the hang of them, they grow on you. I'd definitely be willing to try out their other flavors.
