In brief: It's open 24 hours and has nostalgic value, but the food is so whatever.

There is always a moment of silent appreciation when an old school place like L'Express manages to survive the years, despite it having been more than a decade since either of us has been. It was cheaper than either of us remembered, but then again we were much younger and more broke back then. The food is still nothing to write home about, but that's no reason to keep you from enjoying the atmosphere, plus the lunch menu is nice and affordable.
