In brief: Had high hopes for our favorite genre of food - Korean, but this fancy gastropub doesn't quite live up to its fancy decor or pricey menu.

We both ordered versions of the spicy chicken at Barn Joo, the new Korean gastropub, but clearly it was the french fries and sliders of the guy eating next to me that we should have tried. The dup bap (rice bowl) and ssambap jungsik (farmer's meal platter) were totally fine, not anything worth writing home about though. Next time, sliders. Or K-town.
