If the internet has not already informed you, Happy National Doughnut Day! These apple cider ones I picked from the wee farmers stand at Chambers and Broadway are not the best example of doughnuts, especially since they were on the dry side, but still it would be completely irresponsible of us not to celebrate one of our favorite happy foods.
