After two cronuts and a DKA today, we are pretty much tapped out on our afternoon dessert budget. But it's worth it. It's hard to say which of the two Dominique Ansel inventions is to be preferred. The cream filling of the cronut is truly divine while the density and just right sweetness of the DKA lends itself to addictiveness. So I was only briefly sad that the cronut was already sold out by 9:15am this morning. The DKA is such a worthy alternative.
