4:20pm pão de mel

I didn't know what to expect but these "honey bread" looked right up my alley. And I was correct! But the real surprise was that they taste almost exactly like my favorite german cookie, lebkuchen. I don't know if these are at all authentic, but if they are, I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't something that was brought over to Brasil from the German immigrants. Either way, I'm happy to have found these during the months Leckerlee is on seasonal hiatus.
