As much as I LOVE lunch, truth be told I love breakfast maybe a little more. That being said breakfast options aren't as bountiful as lunch. But today with Y out of the office, I decided to sneak in a family breakfast at the oh-so-hot Rosemary's in the West Village. This place is hopping everytime I walk by and there's no way you can get me to wait or tolerate the noise these days. So imagine my surprise when I found out they were open for breakfast every day. The space is really lovely and delightedly sparsely patronized in the morning. The food was a bit on the meh/whatever side and while not expensive, the two coffees upped it into the not so affordable breakfast zone ($37 with tax, no tip). That being said, I'd go back to soak up the ambience, but not in any hurry.
