In brief: It's really not as good as it could be, but a decent lunch nonetheless. Pretty good sides and the Hill Country Club Sandwich is a sure thing.

I have to go to Hill Country Chicken not when I'm craving fried chicken so that I can order the addictive club sandwich that M. orders. I can't help that fried chicken is on my mind, what with all the foodie news about Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken floating around the interwebs.
