Nuchas Empanadas

I was entirely too lazy to think about lunch today. I knew if I walked down 5th Avenue that I'd be sure to encounter a worthy food truck. I saw Mamak first and let me tell you, it was really hard to not stop there. But I want Y to try their rendang sooner rather than later so I continued on. Where I ended up is Nuchas Empanadas, another Vendy Award Rookie Finalist. At $3 a pop you could get 3 for under $10. If you are hungry, you may want 3 - they are delicate, not overstuffed and not that filling as the dough is thin and light. The Shiitake Curry, was kind of boring (and didn't get much shiitake), but the Argentine was quite nice. I feel like it's better suited for a snack than a meal, but don't let that dissuade you trying it.
