The Melon Pan (melon bread) is a popular offering in the Japanese bakery. It doesn't contain any melon, but is simply called so because it looks like one. I didn't get this when I was a kid, and so wanted it to taste like melon. I have recently discovered that there is even a children's song about this. This version from the Korean bakery Tous les Jours however does have some melon-y flavoring (kind of like midori liqueur). It precisely tastes how I had wished it tasted like.
